Brand History

The Automotion® brand name has been a staple in the material handling industry for over five decades. Initially operating as a conveyor distributor, our solid expertise in the area and deep understanding of the details and nuances of the product led to vertical integration, and soon we were manufacturing our own conveyor. Early on, the Automotion company focused on hard goods distribution, but steadily diversified into retail distribution, direct fulfillment, medical & pharmaceutical supply distribution, shoe distribution, third-party logistics ( 3PL), food, beverage and grocery distribution.

As we expanded in geographic scope and industry experience, it became clear that listening to our clients' needs and understanding their challenges was the cornerstone of our success. Today, we continue to respond to the needs of our clients, and we consistently re-evaluate and improve upon the resultant conveyor products and services we provide.

In 2011, Automotion's parent company, Wynright Corporation, made the decision to continue the heritage conveyor and sortation portfolio under the Automotion brand name. It remains available through an exclusive group of system integrators, with full support from Wynright. The Automotion brand name is still backed by the same experienced distributor services team and service support group our integrator-distributors have come to rely on.

We are proud of the Automotion name and all that it represents. Building on a solid track record, we strive to continue making breakthroughs in conveyor technologies and maintaining and building on the reputation we have earned. Our onward goal of partnering with our integrator-distributors to best serve their clients in the materials handling industry is stronger still.
